1. Overview

XEON Security ("XEON," "we," "us," or "our") provides commercial and residential CCTV design, installation, and monitoring services in the United States, Lithuania, and the Philippines. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website (xeonsecurity.com and its regional pages), why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you.

By using this website or submitting information through our consultation and contact forms, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the site or submit your information to us.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Contact details submitted through our forms — name, email address, phone number, company name, and property/site address
  • Project details you share when requesting a consultation — facility type, approximate size, current security setup, and stated requirements
  • Any additional information you choose to include in free-text fields or email correspondence

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, screen size)
  • IP address and approximate location derived from it
  • Pages visited, time on page, and referring website, collected via standard web analytics
  • Cookie and similar tracking data as described in Section 6

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, financial account details, or biometric data) through this website. If you are an existing client, information related to your installed system (camera counts, site layout, service history) is handled separately under your service agreement, not this website policy.

3. How We Use Information

  • To respond to consultation requests and prepare project quotes or system designs
  • To communicate with you about your inquiry, project status, or service agreement
  • To improve our website, understand which pages and case studies are useful to visitors, and fix technical issues
  • To comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and regulatory recordkeeping requirements in the jurisdictions where we operate
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security incidents, or abuse of our website

We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not use the information collected through this site for unrelated advertising purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/Lithuania Visitors)

For visitors located in the European Union, including Lithuania, we rely on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to process personal data:

  • Consent — where you voluntarily submit a form or opt in to marketing communications
  • Contract performance — where processing is necessary to respond to your inquiry or deliver a service you've requested
  • Legitimate interests — where processing helps us operate, secure, and improve our website, provided this doesn't override your fundamental rights
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain records to comply with applicable law

5. Your Rights by Region

🇱🇹 European Union / Lithuania — GDPR

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • Request data portability in a structured, commonly used format
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

🇵🇭 Philippines — RA 10173

🇺🇸 United States

State-level privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence (for example, California, Colorado, Virginia, or Connecticut), you may have rights to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not face discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information as defined under these laws. To exercise any applicable state privacy right, use the contact details in Section 13.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage or analytics scripts) to remember your preferences, understand site usage, and improve performance. [Specify here whether you use Google Analytics, a cookie consent banner, or similar tools, and list categories: essential, analytics, and marketing cookies.] You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information submitted through this website for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry, fulfill a service agreement, and comply with applicable legal, tax, and accounting requirements. [Specify a concrete retention period here, e.g., "Contact form submissions that do not result in a signed agreement are retained for 24 months and then deleted."] Information related to active client accounts and installed systems is retained for the duration of the service relationship plus any legally required retention period afterward.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include [describe actual measures — e.g., encrypted storage, access controls, staff training]. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the website, process forms, or provide hosting and analytics (bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations)
  • Professional advisors such as accountants or legal counsel, where necessary
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where required by applicable law or to protect our legal rights
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections

10. International Data Transfers

Because XEON operates across the United States, Lithuania, and the Philippines, personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country other than the one in which it was originally collected. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards — such as Standard Contractual Clauses for EU data transfers — to protect personal information transferred internationally.

11. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed at businesses and adult consumers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes affecting how we handle your personal information will be highlighted where required by law.
